I don’t know about you, but for me 2015 has been a wild ride. I hope you send it out in style this evening! (Remember – it’s your last chance to cash in those 2015 karma points and get away with some naughty fun…) Be safe, drink bubbles, and pick your midnight kiss wisely, kids. Cheers! Advertisements

2015 has been and all-around fantastic year and, as usual, I’m looking forward to squeezing in a few more awesome events before the year’s end! To start with, tomorrow evening I will be showing my travel photography during the First Thursday Art Walk at Contour in Pioneer Square. Admittedly it’s been years since I’ve shown my artwork publicly, so I’m very much looking forward to participating with other members of the design community in “Hidden Talents Unveiled”. […]

Welcome to the weekend! It was a fantastic week, but I’m also glad it’s coming to a close. Here are a few of my favorite finds from the last few days. Be sure to check out the Nectarine and Coconut Milk Popsicles from BiteDelite – so delicious and perfect for a summer afternoon!     My other favorites: Artwork by Peggy Wolf – LOVE her use of color and graphic, fashion-forward images. Pom-Pom Mobile by Danna Haim […]

I generally shy away from designing […]

Happy Wednesday! Here are some calming blue pieces for your mid-week inspiration. I love the texture of all of these – from the floaty fabric to the bold inky graphics by BMD. Plus the hues are so deep and rich. Enjoy!   Image Sources: Pojagi Fabric Art | Elephant Ceramics | BMD Design | Ann Sacks

You may have heard the buzz about BAUX, a small company from Sweden that launched at Stockholm Design Week in February. BAUX, which is making waves with their innovative acoustic panels, began when the Swedish industrial design studio Form Us With Love  founding partners Jonas Pettersson, John Löfgren and Petrus Palmér paired with entrepreneurs Johan Ronnestam and Fredrik Franzon. Meet the team behind BAUX and learn more about their popular new products in this short video: Baux embodies the idea that […]

Happy Spring! I swear it’s here, even though it doesn’t feel much like it in Seattle at the moment.  Regardless, it’s that time of year for dusting off the cobwebs, prepping the garden, and in my case also updating the blog.  I am excited to share with you the new look & feel of the place my writing calls home – the (now titled) SPACE PLACE STYLE blog! The new layout will make it easier […]
